The race was red-flagged on lap nine after Thomas Bridewell's crash forced marshals to repair the air fence at turn 14. After the restart, Lecuona led for one lap before Bulega reclaimed control and set a new lap record at the circuit.

Behind the Aruba.it duo, Sam Lowes finished third, followed by Yari Montella and Alex Lowes on the Bimota. The battle in the midfield was equally thrilling, with several young riders trying to make a name for themselves in front of the French crowd.
