Saturday practice for the 2026 Indonesian MotoGP at the Mandalika circuit delivered high-intensity drama as Marco Bezzecchi steered Aprilia to the top of the timesheets during an interrupted final session. Amid challenging track conditions and tropical heat testing rider endurance, the action was brought to a temporary halt following a major crash involving a high-profile wildcard entry.
The session was red-flagged just ten minutes in following a heavy highside accident suffered by Toprak Razgatlioglu. The Turkish rider reportedly dislocated his right shoulder in the violent impact. Medical personnel quickly intervened, popping the shoulder back into place before he was able to return to the pit lane for further checks.
Once the track action resumed, Bezzecchi immediately laid down a scorching pace to lead the session, edging out Friday's pacesetter Raul Fernandez who finished in second. Meanwhile, veteran contender Marc Marquez claimed third place for Ducati, highlighting the fierce battle at the sharp end of the grid ahead of qualifying.

The competitive hierarchy solidified further as Fabio di Giannantonio and championship leader Jorge Martin rounded out the top five for Aprilia and Ducati respectively. These results set the stage for a dramatic Qualifying 1 session, which features several notable names fighting their way up from outside the top ten on Friday.
With championship margins razor-thin heading into the Indonesian round, every tenths of a second around the Mandalika layout carries immense weight for the title contenders and eager midfield challengers alike as starting grid positions loom large.
