Moto2, Sportrik Media - Senna Agius of Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP claimed victory at the 2026 Spanish Moto2 Grand Prix in Jerez, finishing ahead of team-mate Manuel Gonzalez after controlling the race across 21 laps.
Agius established his race management early, maintaining a consistent pace and optimising tyre performance on a circuit that demands strong braking stability and traction on corner exits. Gonzalez remained within range but was unable to identify a decisive overtaking opportunity.
The result confirmed a dominant one-two finish for Intact GP, underlining the strength of their Kalex package and the team’s execution in managing tyre degradation throughout the race.

“I focused on maintaining the pace and avoiding mistakes. The team gave me a very competitive package all weekend,” Agius said.
Third place went to Collin Veijer of Red Bull KTM Ajo, who delivered a consistent performance but could not match the pace of the Intact GP duo.
Behind him, David Alonso for CFMOTO Aspar Team finished fourth, followed by Celestino Vietti of Speed Up Racing in fifth, highlighting the competitive depth of the Moto2 field.
The race further emphasised the importance of consistency and tyre management under dry conditions at Jerez, where small differences in pace proved decisive over race distance.
Meanwhile, Mario Aji of Idemitsu Honda Team Asia failed to finish, concluding a challenging weekend despite showing promising pace in earlier sessions.
This victory strengthens Agius’ position in the 2026 title fight and reinforces Intact GP’s status as a leading contender. Focus now shifts to the next round at Le Mans, where consistency will again be critical in the championship battle.
