Marc Marquez asserted total control by topping the timesheets in a commanding display during the final MotoGP practice session at Phillip Island.
Facing mixed track conditions following a heavy rain shower, the Ducati star showcased his supreme wet-weather prowess to firmly lock down the premier position with a blistering lap time of 1:37.112s.
Marquez ultimately finished the session a comfortable 0.893s clear of the chasing pack, with Pedro Acosta standing as the only competitor able to stay within a single second of the Spaniard's benchmark.

Championship leader Jorge Martin rounded out the top three performers, while his Aprilia stablemate Marco Bezzecchi slotted closely behind in fourth place.
The challenging weather forced the entire grid to carefully manage grip limits around the iconic coastal circuit, setting an unpredictable tone for the remainder of the Australian Grand Prix weekend.
