The medical emergency occurred before a race later won by George Russell. Max Verstappen finished second and received strong support from the large crowd, including many travelling Dutch fans during Red Bull Racing's home event.

The incident again underlined the essential role marshals play in Formula 1 safety operations. Their presence trackside remains fundamental to every race weekend, particularly when cars, debris or emergency situations must be handled quickly.
