The VR46 management has stepped forward to dismiss wild speculations and conspiracy theories circulating online regarding the performance levels of Fabio Di Giannantonio's machine. The heated discussions emerged after the Italian rider previously struggled with a notable top-speed deficit on the straights during recent Grand Prix weekends.
Such technical hurdles unfortunately fueled toxic reactions from certain fan circles, leading to baseless accusations targeting factory star Marc Marquez. Rumors even suggested intentional sabotage within the engineering department to favor specific riders in the championship battle.
However, team manager Pablo Nieto firmly rejected all notions of foul play or deliberate handicapping. He emphasized that any technical discrepancies encountered during race weekends are purely mechanical challenges inherent to high-level prototype motorcycle racing.

"We are working hand in hand with the factory engineers because a ten-kilometer-per-hour difference is massive in MotoGP," Nieto stated when explaining the exhaustive investigation into their bike's telemetry and setup data.
The squad reiterated that all machinery provided maintains identical core specifications, while ongoing adjustments to aerodynamic configurations and rider positioning remain the primary focus to optimize performance on track.
