Kimi Antonelli secured a brilliant victory at the 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix held at the Circuit of the Americas. The Italian driver put on a dominant display throughout the weekend, crossing the finish line over 13 seconds clear of the chasing pack to further extend his lead at the summit of the world championship standings.

A fierce battle unfolded behind the race leader as Charles Leclerc charged from the second row of the grid to claim second place for Scuderia Ferrari. Although hoping to mount a stronger challenge against the race winner, the Monegasque driver ultimately secured crucial points for the Maranello-based constructor.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen saw his winning streak come to an end, yet the reigning champion still managed to secure a spot on the podium. The Red Bull Racing star brought his car home in third place after fending off late pressure from competitors behind him.

Leclerc's teammate, Lewis Hamilton, launched a late charge through the field but narrowly missed out on a podium finish. The British driver crossed the line in fourth position just a second behind Verstappen following a consistent stint in the closing stages of the grand prix.

Rounding out the top five, Lando Norris delivered a solid points finish for McLaren after completing an impressive 40 laps on Hard tyres during his final stint. Elsewhere, Isack Hadjar slipped down the order from his third-place start to finish sixth, followed by Oscar Piastri and George Russell in seventh and eighth respectively.

The points-scoring positions were completed by Liam Lawson with a ninth-place finish for Racing Bulls and Pierre Gasly claiming the final point in tenth for Alpine, concluding a dramatic race in Austin.
