Lando Norris delivered a commanding performance at Zandvoort to claim back-to-back Formula 1 victories in the final Dutch Grand Prix, a race overshadowed by a massive crash for Max Verstappen.
The reigning world champion lost ground at the start to Andrea Kimi Antonelli, but Norris fought back with a stunning overtake around the outside of Turn 1 in the second half of the race. That move proved decisive, allowing the McLaren driver to pull clear and secure his second consecutive win.
Antonelli had to settle for second after a late virtual safety car period. The Mercedes driver pitted for soft tyres in a bold attempt to challenge Norris, but the gamble didn't pay off. Team-mate George Russell selflessly let him through in the closing laps, but Antonelli couldn't close the gap, finishing 11.5 seconds behind.

Norris looked in total control out front, managing his pace to perfection. The victory further cements McLaren's resurgence, while Mercedes showed they can fight for podiums, even if victory remains out of reach.
The race was red-flagged after Verstappen's heavy shunt, but the Dutchman was reported safe. It was a disappointing end to the final Dutch GP, at least for the home crowd, as the event prepares to leave the calendar.
With this result, Norris extends his momentum, and the championship battle gains another layer of intrigue. All eyes now turn to the next round, where Norris will aim to make it three in a row.
