The 2026 Formula 1 season enters its second half, and the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort kicks it off. The circuit, famous for its banked corners, hosts round 12 and will feature a sprint race for the very first time.
This is also the final Dutch GP before the event drops off the calendar in 2027, so expect an emotional atmosphere—Dutch fans will be eager to send their hero, Max Verstappen, off with a strong result at home.
Meanwhile, the title fight is heating up. Kimi Antonelli arrives with a 50-point lead over Lewis Hamilton, while George Russell sits third, 59 points behind his Italian teammate. Antonelli has already won six of the first 11 races and will look to keep the momentum going.

This weekend's schedule is different due to the sprint format. There is only one free practice session on Friday morning, followed by sprint qualifying. The sprint race takes place on Saturday afternoon, before qualifying for the main event on Sunday.
Here is the full schedule for the 2026 Dutch GP at Zandvoort (local time):
Friday, August 21: FP1 at 12:30, Sprint Qualifying at 16:30. Saturday, August 22: Sprint Race (24 laps) at 12:00, Grand Prix Qualifying at 16:00. Sunday, August 23: Grand Prix (72 laps) at 15:00.
All times are local (CEST). For UK fans, subtract one hour from the times listed.
