Alpine driver Franco Colapinto has publicly urged his fanbase to immediately put an end to the wave of insults, threats, and online harassment directed at fellow drivers, race stewards, and team personnel across digital platforms.
The toxic online behavior has increasingly targeted rivals such as Lando Norris, who faced backlash simply for defending his racing position on track, alongside race officials and garage staff who have been subjected to baseless conspiracy theories regarding internal team sabotage.
This growing hostility creates an unwanted layer of immense pressure for the young Argentine talent, who is fighting hard to establish a long-term career in Formula 1 following positive results and a fresh contract renewal.

Colapinto emphasized that such aggressive behavior does not help his future, nor does it support the hard-working mechanics and engineers who dedicate their lives to the sport. Competitors and team members are professionals doing a job, not targets for misplaced fanaticism.
The situation serves as a stark reminder of the dark side of modern sports fandom, where unbridled national enthusiasm threatens to derail the very athlete supporters claim to champion.
