The dramatic conclusion of the iconic Mount Panorama endurance classic, the Bathurst 1000, continues to resonate as championship history is now immortalised through an exclusive new collection of scale models. Last lap heartbreak struck Team 18's Camaro driven by Anton De Pasquale and Lee Holdsworth after they dramatically ran out of fuel just yards from glory. This sudden twist handed the coveted victory to Broc Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood, marking their second triumph together in the space of three years.

That memorable victory was far from straightforward, as the pair had to overcome a costly pit stop error earlier in the race that dropped them out of the lead. Undeterred, Kostecki twice shattered the lap record during a brilliant charge back through the top five, putting himself in a prime position to strike for the win when the race reached its thrilling final lap showdown.

The milestone achievement represents the fifth historic Bathurst 1000 victory for the legendary Dick Johnson Racing outfit. To commemorate the momentous occasion, Authentic Collectibles has revealed a trio of special edition replicas based on the iconic number 17 Ford Mustang, giving fans and collectors multiple ways to own a piece of motorsport history.

The commemorative lineup spans three distinct sizes, featuring 1:12, 1:18, and 1:43 scale configurations. The premier 1:12 scale model boasts a high-detail sealed resin body and comes bundled with a miniature replica of the prestigious Peter Brock Trophy, alongside official team and Ford celebration posters. Meanwhile, the larger 1:18 scale model introduces opening body parts, inclusion of the trophy and posters, plus the authentic first-position pit board straight from victory lane.

Rounding out the comprehensive collection is the 1:43 scale model, featuring a sealed body paired with meticulously detailed interior and undercarriage elements housed within a display case with a numbered backing board. All three collector editions will be produced strictly as one-off limited runs, complete with individually numbered certificates of authenticity, with pre-orders now available through approved stockists.
