A major shakeup has hit the Supercars paddock as Aaron Fraser finds himself abruptly ousted from his full-time drive at PremiAir Racing. The team's swift management decision sees the vacant seat immediately filled by rising talent Cooper Murray, who arrives from Erebus Motorsport on a multi-year two-year agreement.
The current season marked a fresh chapter for Aaron Fraser upon joining the PremiAir Racing stable alongside his garage partner. However, on-track results dictated a harsher reality. Throughout the ongoing championship rounds, his pace often fell short of expectations, leaving him consistently outperformed by a less experienced teammate.
The drivers' standings paint a clear picture of the internal performance gap within the garage. Following the grueling endurance test at the Bathurst 1000, Aaron Fraser languished down in 21st place in the championship points, while his stablemate comfortably secured 14th position overall.

Less than half an hour after the team officially confirmed Murray's arrival, Aaron Fraser took to social media to break his silence regarding the premature termination of his contract, expressing open dismay over the sudden turn of events.
"My time with PremiAir Racing has come to an early end," stated Aaron Fraser in his published statement. He explicitly noted to his followers that the removal from the race seat was entirely outside of his control and not his choice.
"Naturally, I'm extremely disappointed with how things have unfolded, but I won't let this decision take anything away from the work I've put in this year," he added, while expressing profound gratitude toward loyal sponsors, family members, and genuine supporters within the paddock.
As reported by Speedcafe, this marks the second major setback in the driver's career following a previous downsizing ordeal when Tickford Racing cut back their operations ahead of a previous campaign, forcing him into a co-driver stint with Brad Jones Racing.
