The final free practice session of the MotoGP weekend at the Lusail International Circuit delivered a fascinating technical showdown as track temperatures soared past 10 degrees Celsius higher than the previous night's running. The scorching desert asphalt forced teams and riders to frantically adjust their setups to extract maximum grip from their Michelin tires ahead of the crucial qualifying sessions.
Noale factory Aprilia put on an extraordinary masterclass to outpace the opposition in the midday heat. With just three minutes remaining on the clock, Marco Bezzecchi unleashed a stellar lap of 1:51.571 to rocket to the top of the timesheets, leaving the rest of the paddock scrambling to respond.
The Italian's dominant charge was heavily backed by his fellow Aprilia stablemates, with Raul Fernandez, Ai Ogura, and Jorge Martin locking out the leading positions. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez salvaged the top Ducati honor in fifth place, finishing 0.427 seconds adrift of Bezzecchi while opting for a different tire strategy than his Noale-mounted rivals.

Elsewhere, a glimmer of hope emerged for the Red Bull KTM camp as Pedro Acosta showed encouraging signs of recovery. Following a disastrous Friday plagued by rear-grip issues and turning difficulties, the young Spanish sensation fought his way up to ninth place during the warmer afternoon running.
"We tried to find the best solutions to fix the traction issues we faced yesterday, and the small step forward today gives us a much-needed boost for qualifying," Acosta remarked after climbing off his RC16. The grid is now primed for an explosive qualifying showdown under the floodlights of Qatar.
