Brad Jones Racing has officially confirmed the continuation of its marquee partnership ahead of the 2027 Supercars Championship season. The #8 Toyota Supra will once again sport the familiar colors of R&J Batteries, extending an association that first commenced back in 2020 within the competitive Australian touring car paddock.
Over the past two seasons, this alliance has stood as the sole full-season primary sponsorship commitment within the Brad Jones Racing stable, contrasting with the rotating sponsorship models utilized on sister entries. This unwavering backing is something that driver Andre Heimgartner aims to reward by breaking into the coveted Finals series next season, having narrowly missed out over the preceding two campaigns.
The New Zealand-born racer expressed immense enthusiasm regarding the prolonged agreement, highlighting the emotional milestone of sharing a race win in Tasmania alongside key company figures. He believes that recent performance gains demonstrate the team's true capability to fight consistently at the sharp end of the grid once minor operational inconsistencies are ironed out.

"The whole team is pretty excited to have R&J Batteries with us for another year," said Andre Heimgartner. "Ray and Rhonda Robson are pretty much part of the team. It was very special to have both of them with us when we won in Tasmania this year, and I am thrilled to stay part of the family for 2027."
Ray Robson echoed these sentiments on behalf of the entire corporate group, praising the tight-knit family atmosphere fostered by Brad Jones and his crew. He noted that navigating the ultra-competitive 24-plus car Supercars grid provides an exciting platform to showcase their brand as the Toyota Supra continues its development curve in the category.
R&J Batteries CEO Stuart Hamilton concluded by emphasizing the mutual growth and brand development facilitated by the enduring partnership, expressing high expectations for more podium finishes and strong championship momentum as the team heads into the 2027 racing calendar.
