Tyre manufacturer Pirelli anticipates highly aggressive strategies at Interlagos, with cold track temperatures creating unique challenges for teams and drivers alike during the race weekend.
According to Pirelli Chief Engineer Simone Berra, a two-stop strategy remains the fastest theoretical approach, even with track thermometers dropping significantly lower than previous sessions.
"We expect teams to lean towards softer compounds, especially the C5 which we believe can perform strongly and run reasonably long stints. Brazil is a circuit where overtaking is possible and track position is slightly less critical, so teams will push for a two-stop strategy," Simone Berra stated ahead of the race.

While alternative strategies involving harder compounds exist, the cooler ambient and track conditions make softer options more predictable and easier to manage regarding rear tyre degradation.
Front-runners such as Max Verstappen will need to carefully balance thermal degradation and optimum operating windows to secure a strong result under these unusual weather conditions.
