Gino Borsoi, Team Director of Pramac Yamaha, has issued a public warning after learning that individuals are using his name to offer MotoGP access and passes in exchange for money. In an Instagram post, Borsoi stated firmly, "This is not me. It is a scam."
He urged fans and stakeholders not to trust anyone contacting them on his behalf. "Please do not trust anyone contacting you on my behalf with such requests," he wrote. The full statement also included a thank you to those who reported the fraudulent activity.
A former grand prix racer, Borsoi has a long career in the paddock. Before joining Pramac, he served as sporting director at Aspar. At Pramac, he played a key role in Jorge Martin's 2024 MotoGP title victory with Ducati.

In 2025, Pramac switched to Yamaha machinery and now fields Jack Miller alongside Toprak Razgatlioglu. This transition presents new challenges for the team, but Borsoi's immediate focus is ensuring the integrity and safety of fans from fraudulent schemes.
This incident serves as a reminder of the prevalence of online scams. For MotoGP fans, it is crucial to always verify information through official team or organizer channels. Do not be easily swayed by exclusive access offers that use public figures' names without prior confirmation.
Borsoi is known for being close to fans, but he emphasizes that he never requests money in exchange for access. If you receive a suspicious offer, report it immediately to authorities or the team's official accounts.
