George Russell topped the final free practice session (FP3) for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The Briton now heads into qualifying as the man to beat.
Drama and Close Calls at the Temple of Speed
The session was intense from the moment the pit lane opened. Liam Lawson spun at Turn 2 after attacking the kerb too aggressively, while heavy traffic nearly caused a collision between Russell and Lawson at the second chicane.
A thrilling wheel-to-wheel battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton down the main straight caught everyone's attention. Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli's daring push to the limit through Parabolica delighted the home crowd.

Verstappen Gains Momentum Ahead of Qualifying
Verstappen showed significant improvement compared to earlier sessions. Although he didn't dethrone Russell from the top, his progress is a warning sign for rivals ahead of qualifying.
With only one practice session remaining before qualifying, tension is rising in the Monza paddock. All eyes are now on the duel between Russell and Verstappen, with Ferrari's drivers also looming as threats on home soil.
