Valtteri Bottas, Cadillac Formula 1 driver, recently appeared on Amelia Dimoldenberg's popular YouTube series Passenger Princess. Filmed during the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix weekend, the episode saw the pair practicing emergency stops and parallel parking. But there was one moment that had fans laughing: Bottas completely failed his parallel parking attempt, hitting a traffic cone in the process.
The video opened with Bottas in the passenger seat, a position he admitted usually makes him uncomfortable. The Finnish driver explained that, apart from professional chauffeurs and his partner Tiffany Cromwell, he only ever drives himself because he likes to be in control. In this episode, though, he started as a passenger before eventually taking the wheel.
During the emergency stop practice, Bottas and Dimoldenberg chatted casually about his nude charity calendar and his pet reindeer, Rosa. After Dimoldenberg had a go, it was Bottas's turn behind the wheel. He successfully avoided a cardboard cutout of his teammate, Sergio Perez, with ease. But the parallel parking challenge was a different story.

When it came to parallel parking, Bottas managed to park the car but clipped a traffic cone. He then honestly graded his own maneuver a "one out of 10" failure. Dimoldenberg, following Bottas's instructions carefully, parked without hitting any cones, earning a solid nine out of 10 from the Finn for her overall driving performance.
Fans flooded the comments section with reactions. One user wrote, "This is the only time the driver has actually taught Amelia how to drive," referring to other drivers who have appeared on the show, including George Russell, Oliver Bearman, Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Franco Colapinto, Gabriel Bortoleto, Kimi Antonelli, and Alex Albon. Others joked about Bottas's ever-present sunglasses and noted how he's "the most Aussie bloke on the grid" while Oscar Piastri is "the most Finnish guy."
The episode quickly became a fan favorite, with many praising Bottas's laid-back and humorous personality when given the chance to speak. "This episode is my favourite, what a wholesome guy," one comment read. Moments like these bring fans closer to the drivers off the track, and Bottas clearly knows how to entertain.
