The Dutch squad Track & Trades Wixx Racing Team is taking a major strategic step forward for the upcoming racing season. Building upon a highly successful debut year on the world stage, the team led by Wiljan Wikselaar has officially announced a new technical partnership with Honda to compete in the FIM World Sportbike Championship 2027.
For this ambitious campaign, the Harskamp-based outfit will field a formidable Belgian-Dutch rider lineup. Ferre Fleerackers has opted to stay loyal to the squad, while promising young talent Jurrien van Crugten steps up to fill the seat previously held by former world champion Jeffrey Buis. Both riders will pilot the competitive Honda CBR600RR machine.
The upcoming winter break will be entirely dedicated to development, testing, and fine-tuning the new machinery. This technical transition marks a fresh challenge as the team aims to channel the wealth of experience gained during their impressive maiden world championship campaign into immediate on-track competitiveness.

For Fleerackers, the manufacturer support represents a crucial career milestone. "I am incredibly excited to line up with Honda next season. I truly believe that together with the team we can build a strong package to fight for the championship title, and having factory support is a dream come true," he stated.
Meanwhile, Van Crugten is thrilled to continue his international career path within the WorldSBK paddock. "I am extremely happy to continue my adventure here, now alongside this team and Honda. I expect the bike's characteristics to suit my riding style well, and I am highly motivated for the 2027 season," he added.
