Toyota has officially sealed its eighth FIA World Endurance Championship manufacturers' title in dominant fashion, securing a brilliant one-two finish at the dramatic 6 Hours of Barcelona. The Japanese marque showcased superior pace and strategic execution throughout the endurance classic.
The winning effort was spearheaded by the #8 machine driven masterfully by Ryo Hirakawa alongside his teammates. The race started under tricky wet conditions before transitioning to a dry racing surface, creating a chaotic environment that tested every team's adaptability to the limit.
Early pressure came from newcomers Genesis Magma Racing, who locked out the front row in qualifying and briefly led the race before minor driver errors allowed the reigning champions to reclaim control of the Hypercar field.

Despite overcoming a five-second penalty for a start-procedure infringement, the #8 crew fought back through brilliant stints by Brendon Hartley. They ultimately crossed the finish line a mere 0.583 seconds ahead of the sister #7 car shared by Nyck de Vries, Mike Conway, and Kamui Kobayashi.
Ferrari rounded out the overall podium in third place with their #50 499P crew after carving their way up from eighth on the grid, capping off an intense battle as the WEC season heads toward its thrilling finale.
