Young Brazilian talent Rafael Camara has openly acknowledged that there is a significant amount of work ahead as he prepares for his highly anticipated Formula 1 debut with Haas in the 2027 season.
The announcement secures the youngster's graduation to the pinnacle of motorsport following a compelling and ongoing campaign in Formula 2 with Invicta Racing. His progression highlights the Banbury-based outfit's commitment to nurturing fresh talent from the junior categories.
Much like Oliver Bearman before him, Camara makes the definitive jump to the F1 grid backed by his credentials as a member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, while Haas continues its technical partnership utilizing power units from Maranello.

In a formal statement released following the confirmation, Camara expressed immense gratitude to team management and his supporters for the opportunity, emphasizing that his immediate priority is comprehensive preparation for the physical and technical demands of the top tier.
"Iām very happy to be joining the Haas F1 Team as a Formula 1 driver," Camara stated, highlighting his eagerness to understand the machinery, collaborate closely with engineers, and continue his professional development ahead of the upcoming era.
