BIOGRAPHY

Jack Miller is an Australian MotoGP rider famously known by his nicknames, "Thriller Miller" and "Jackass." Widely recognized for his charismatic personality, extraordinary bravery in wet track conditions, and aggressive riding style. He made history as one of the rare riders to jump directly from the Moto3 class to the MotoGP premier class. With a track record of riding for Honda, Ducati, and KTM, Miller now brings his highly valuable technical experience to Yamaha's revival project.

Career Journey

  • Historic Leap & Assen Surprise (2014–2017): Finishing as the Moto3 runner-up in 2014 after an epic battle against Alex Marquez, Miller made the bold decision to jump straight into MotoGP in 2015 with a satellite Honda team. The absolute peak of his early career surprise came in 2016 when he won a highly dramatic wet race at Assen with the independent Marc VDS team.
  • The Golden Era at Ducati (2018–2022): His career developed rapidly upon joining Prima Pramac Racing (Ducati). His solid performances earned him a promotion to the main factory Ducati Lenovo team from 2021 to 2022. There, he claimed several emotional victories (such as at Jerez and Le Mans) and played a key role in helping Ducati win back-to-back constructors' titles.
  • Challenge with the KTM Factory (2023–2024): Seeking a new challenge, Miller moved to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in 2023. He immediately made a positive impact with his lightning-fast starts and led several races. Despite showing massive potential on the RC16 machine, he faced consistency challenges amidst an increasingly tight grid.
  • Pramac Reunion & The Massive Yamaha Project (2025–Present): Entering the 2025 and 2026 seasons, Miller embarked on a surprising new chapter by returning to Prima Pramac Racing. However, this time, Pramac had transitioned into the factory-supported Yamaha satellite team. Bringing a wealth of experience from three previous European and Japanese manufacturers, Miller now holds a crucial role in the development mission of the Yamaha YZR-M1 alongside his teammate, Toprak Razgatlioglu.
