The atmosphere inside the Haas Formula 1 garage has undergone a major shift following the sudden departure of Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the racing calendar. The American outfit's decision to drop the French driver after an internal dispute in Mexico City left his teammate, Oliver Bearman, navigating a noticeably different environment.

This abrupt fallout forced the team to quickly reshuffle their driver lineup for the final stretches of the season. Following a brief appearance by Japanese reserve Ryo Hirakawa at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, junior driver Rafael Camara is now stepping into the cockpit earlier than anticipated to make his Grand Prix debut this weekend.

Speaking to media representatives in the paddock, Bearman openly confessed to missing his former teammate. The British driver acknowledged that while the situation behind closed doors was complicated, the team must maintain focus and minimize any potential technical disruption on track.

"It is strange not having Esteban here, and it is obviously a challenging situation for everybody," Bearman said. "And I really, really feel for him. I really do feel for him. Of course, the situation is complicated, things have changed, and I just hope that it doesn't cause disruption. At least last week, I wouldn't say that it caused any disruption at all."

Looking ahead, Bearman believes that integrating Camara into the squad ahead of schedule carries a silver lining. Given their shared history coming through the Ferrari Driver Academy together, the young Briton expects a strong internal challenge that will ultimately push both the drivers and the engineering crew to extract maximum performance from the car.

"If anything, the positive now is that we have Rafa in the car for these events, and that is also preparing us as a team for next year," Bearman concluded. The early transition offers the team a valuable head start in building a cohesive partnership for the upcoming seasons.
