The battle at Lusail International Circuit intensified as Marco Bezzecchi rocketed to the top of the timesheets during the final practice session of the weekend. The Italian rider showcased blistering pace aboard his RS-GP after executing a contrasting tyre strategy compared to his primary championship rivals.
The session featured a fascinating split in tyre choices among the front-running contenders. Leading riders from Ducati, KTM, and Honda opted to head out immediately on soft rear tyres, while the Aprilia camp chose to begin their run on the medium compound to gather essential long-run data.
Championship leader Marc Marquez held the fastest time for a major portion of the session utilizing the soft rubber, before eventually switching over to the medium option. This strategic window allowed the Noale factory squad to orchestrate a late charge in the closing stages of the practice.

Bezzecchi, who had temporarily slipped down to sixth place while running the medium tyre, bolted on a fresh soft rear and blasted his way to the summit. The sheer dominance of the RS-GP machine was further underlined as Trackhouse riders Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura slotted cleanly into second and third positions.
Jorge Martin rounded out a flawless clean sweep of the top four for Aprilia ahead of the crucial qualifying sessions. The intense competitive landscape highlights the fierce psychological and technical battles unfolding under the floodlights as the season races toward its dramatic conclusion.
