The 2027 WorldSBK grid is taking shape as Lorenzo Baldassarri officially secures his future with the Piedmontese independent squad. The 29-year-old Italian rider will continue riding the distinctive yellow Ducati machine after signing a contract extension to remain with the team for another championship campaign.
This announcement resolves speculation surrounding the team's lineup, which had recently been linked with Danilo Petrucci amidst ongoing paddock rumors. Opting for continuity, the management decided to keep faith in the #34 rider for his second consecutive year with the team in the production-based series.
This year has proven to be highly successful for the Italian rider, who rediscovered his speed and consistency on track after navigating a challenging period in his career involving multiple category and machine changes. The strong rapport within the garage has yielded impressive competitive results throughout the season.

"I am really happy to renew with Team GoEleven. We had to wait a bit to sort out the final details, but I had been looking forward to this day for a long time. We are giving continuity to the project, I am very happy about it," Baldassarri stated regarding his new agreement.
He emphasized that the current season has been wonderful, allowing him to consistently perform at a high level. Having rebuilt his confidence and secured strong results with the technical package provided, he feels fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
"We now have a base on all circuits, we will arrive ready at every track. I cannot wait to start another year together," the rider added, looking forward to maintaining their competitive momentum into the next championship year.
Team owner Gianni Ramello expressed immense satisfaction with the rider's performance and contribution to the garage throughout 2026. Taking a gamble on the rider at the start of the year ultimately rewarded the squad with one of their finest campaigns in the paddock.
"Lorenzo has proven, in this 2026 season, that he is fast and competitive, giving us a lot of satisfaction. It was my gamble at the beginning of the year, I believed in it from the start and he repaid me with one of our best seasons in WorldSBK," Ramello remarked.
The harmonious atmosphere and strong team spirit within the camp played a crucial role in securing the extension. With solid data collected across all venues, the team is fully geared up to face upcoming challenges with high ambitions.
