Kenzo Craigie driving for R-ace GP claimed a hard-fought victory in the opening race of the E4 finale at Monza, extending his championship advantage significantly.
As is unfortunately typical for Formula 4 races at the iconic Italian venue, over half of the racing laps were completed behind the safety car, with the race ultimately finishing under caution.
The Mercedes-AMG F1 junior seized the lead on the fifth lap with a stunning maneuver around the outside of polesitter Ary Bansal at the Parabolica before successfully defending his position into the opening chicane.

However, Craigie was forced to fend off a fierce late challenge from Iacopo Martinese, who brilliantly worked his way through the field from ninth on the starting grid to finish right on the race winner's tail.
Meanwhile, Alex Ruta rounded out the podium positions in third place after displaying exceptional pace and overtaking maneuvers throughout the heavily interrupted encounter.
