An impressive performance was delivered by young talent Isack Hadjar during a thrilling Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix held at the challenging Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Interlagos. The Parisian driver clinched his fourth career podium after navigating through extremely tricky weather and track conditions.
Throughout the race, the tarmac at Interlagos demanded utmost concentration, especially when drivers had to transition from intermediate tires to slicks. The race dynamics heated up on lap 38 when Red Bull Racing instructed Hadjar to yield position to his advancing teammate, Max Verstappen, in a strategic bid to hunt down race leader Lando Norris from McLaren.
Although he briefly inquired over the team radio whether his second-place position would be returned after Verstappen struggled to close the gap to Norris, Hadjar maintained high professionalism. At the end of the race, he admitted he still needs to clean up minor mistakes in his driving and issued an apology to the Dutch world champion regarding an on-track moment.

"The conditions were indescribably difficult, especially during those laps right after we switched from intermediate tires to slicks," Hadjar said reflecting on the race. He added that the pit lane exit felt extremely greasy, while heavier rain returned towards the closing stages.
"I need to manage to make fewer mistakes in the future. I also have to apologize to Verstappen. If I had stayed better on the ideal racing line during that phase of the race, I could have achieved a better result. The track was extremely slippery, and at one point I had Antonelli right behind me sliding around—it was essentially driving on ice," he concluded.
