Following a golden era of success in TCR Australia that yielded multiple championship titles, HMO Customer Racing is now setting its sights on a strategic expansion into the domestic GT4 arena. The Sydney-based outfit has previously secured three TCR Australia championships alongside notable victories in South Korea and Macau, cementing its reputation as a technical powerhouse.
However, with the decline of the TCR category, the team has actively explored alternative racing opportunities to keep its competitive edge sharp. Throughout the transitional phase, the squad began preparing Triple Eight-backed entries for Mustang Cup Australia, spearheaded by Jack Perkins alongside a mid-season campaign for Oli Wickham.
The team also fielded its own dedicated entry featuring Toyota GR Cup front-runner Brock Stinson, who immediately made an impact by visiting the podium in Darwin and securing three top-five finishes before being forced to withdraw from the final Sydney round due to illness.

This sustained period of competitive form has prompted the organization to evaluate deeper involvement in SRO Motorsports Australia-promoted categories, weighing up a full-scale entry into Monochrome GT4 Australia for 2027 and beyond as a natural progression.
Team manager Aaron Grech noted that six years spent fighting at the front of the TCR grid have equipped the crew with invaluable lessons and data that translate directly to GT4 machinery, positioning them ideally to foster a front-running operation in the new category.
