Breathtaking quarter-mile action unfolded as Hamilton-Moderate secured the bracket's maiden ANDRA Christmas Tree trophy. This milestone triumph came after the category was officially elevated to a championship bracket within the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Series at Dragway at The Bend.

Previously, the Extreme Bike bracket operated strictly as an exhibition class. However, its championship debut drew a competitive six-bike grid featuring returning veterans alongside an exciting new generation of heads-up motorcycle racers.

Hamilton-Moderate's journey to the final showdown was forged through a demanding Chicago Shootout format. Success along the way required hard-fought victories over Cory Read, Darren Foley, and Brendan Miglionico, who earlier in the event had eliminated Nitro Voodoo top qualifier Ryan Franks in the opening round.

The championship final proved to be the race of the entire weekend, with both competitors launching hard and wrestling their machines down the strip while pushing right to the stripe.

"All Bike Nationals was great – it was awesome catching up with everyone again, as it has been a while since we have been out with the racing family," the winner shared.

He further emphasized the significance of the class evolution. "We are stoked to see Extreme Bike up and running this season as a championship bracket, not just as exhibition, which is great to showcase some of Australia’s fastest heads-up motorcycle racing."

Despite the ultimate success, the weekend was not without technical hurdles. Voltage issues forced the team to miss a crucial passing run before regrouping to secure their place in the final battle against Brendan.

"Our weekend at All Bike Nationals didn’t go without its challenge, we missed one pass with voltage issues, but we managed to make it into the finals with Brendan," he noted.

Reflecting on the thrilling title decider, he added, "It was a great race to watch, with both of us getting a bit loose and pushing till the end – and I managed to come away with the win, which of course I was very happy about."

With the opening round now in the books, attention quickly turns to the next chapter of the calendar. Competitors are already gearing up for round two of the Extreme Bike chase at the ANDRA Drag Racing Masters, hosted at Sydney Dragway on January 23.

The championship battle spans three intense rounds, culminating in the ANDRA Grand Finals scheduled to return to Dragway at The Bend on April 23-24, where competitors will chase both event trophies and the ultimate season crown.
