Isack Hadjar has been ruled out of this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The Red Bull driver from France sustained a wrist injury while training during the summer break, and the decision to sideline him was made to protect his condition.
Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies confirmed the injury is minor and that Hadjar will still travel to the circuit to support the team, despite not racing.
"Isack is alright," said Mekies. "He suffered a minor injury during training in the summer break. He will arrive at the track on Friday."

Hadjar's absence has forced a major reshuffle within the Red Bull stable. Liam Lawson has been promoted from Racing Bulls to take his place in the RB22, while reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda will fill the vacant seat at Racing Bulls alongside Arvid Lindblad.
The loss is particularly painful for Hadjar, as Zandvoort is the circuit where he secured his maiden Formula 1 podium. Last year, he finished third for Racing Bulls in the same race, behind Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
Mekies emphasized there is no rush to bring Hadjar back. "We have no reason to take any risk with him. He has had a fantastic start to the season, and he has been stronger every time he has driven the car out of the garage. We take zero risk; we let him recover this weekend, and hopefully we'll have him back very quickly," he explained.
It remains unclear whether Hadjar will need an extended period on the sidelines, similar to Daniel Ricciardo's hand injury in 2023. However, Red Bull's cautious approach signals that the priority is the driver's safety and readiness.
