Night racing returns to GT World Challenge Australia at Sydney Motorsport Park, with 18 cars set to battle under the lights. Earl Bamber Motorsport (EBM) makes a splash with a Porsche 911 GT3R in the iconic 'Pink Pig' livery, driven by Tom McLennan and Andrew Georgiadis. Their presence adds spice to an already intense Pro-Am battle.

Wall Racing also returns with the #93 Lamborghini Huracan of Tony D'Alberto and Adrian Deitz, while Michael Sheargold and Brett Hobson will make their Am class debut in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 for GWR Australia/RAM Motorsport. Volante Rossi Motorsport is absent for the second consecutive round, having also missed Darwin.

The Pro-Am championship fight is incredibly tight, with just 31 points covering the top five. Reigning champions Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher lead, but only by 10 points over Tigani Motorsport's Brendon Leitch/Sergio Pires. Team BRM's Mark Rosser is tied with Leitch/Pires after winning in Darwin. Tigani's other duo, Jayden Ojeda/Paul Lucchitti, sit fourth, seven points further back, followed by Jaxon Evans/Elliott Schutte in fifth.

Feeney and Ojeda must maximize their Sydney results as they will be unavailable for the final round in Adelaide due to Supercars commitments. This opens the door for rivals to capitalize. In the SRO GT Academy standings, Oscar Targett holds a 42-point lead over Valentino Astuti, with a drive at the 24 Hours of Spa up for grabs.
