Formula 1, Sportrik Media - The 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship marks the 77th season in history, featuring 24 Grands Prix and six Sprint weekends across five continents, with a more geographically structured flow than previous campaigns.
Pre-season testing will be held across two three-day sessions at Bahrain International Circuit on February 11–13 and February 18–20. The season officially begins with the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne (March 6–8), before heading to China for the first Sprint weekend of the year. The opening phase continues with Japan, followed by a Middle East double header in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The European stretch runs from Monaco through to Madrid (subject to FIA homologation), before the championship moves to Azerbaijan, Singapore and the Americas. The season concludes with a decisive triple header in Las Vegas, Qatar and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in early December.
