The race weekend at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace Interlagos has brought an extraordinary wave of emotions for Charles Leclerc. Amidst adjusting to his new life chapter as a father following the birth of his baby, the Monegasque driver immediately faced the intense realities of the Formula 1 paddock. Arriving in Brazil on Thursday after skipping media duties, he had to balance personal milestones with resolving internal tensions stemming from the previous event.
The talking point regarding the opening lap incident in Mexico City was swiftly addressed upon his arrival. Alongside his teammate Lewis Hamilton, the Scuderia Ferrari star attended a hotel meeting on Thursday evening alongside team principal Frederic Vasseur to clear the air and eliminate any lingering friction within the garage.
Speaking to Sky Sports regarding the clear-the-air talks, the Maranello stalwart emphasized that the situation had been completely resolved. "Obviously there have been many things this week, probably too many. We have talked and I think everything is settled now, so I am looking forward to the rest of the weekend," he stated.

While the atmosphere within the team has reportedly stabilized, track action presented a significant technical hurdle for the squad. After sitting out the opening practice session to hand his car over to Dino Beganovic, the race winner struggled to find a competitive rhythm in the subsequent session, finishing only in seventh place.
The handling of the Ferrari SF-26 proved to be far from ideal around the Brazilian venue, leaving the #16 machine trailing significantly behind pacesetter Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Frustrations were clearly audible over the radio as the team grappled with balance issues.
The afternoon running was candidly labeled as one of the least comfortable driving experiences of the entire season. Substantial adjustments to the car setup are deemed mandatory to reclaim lost ground both on the straightaways and through the twisty sections.
"FP2 has been very complicated, I had some of the worst feelings in the car since the beginning of the year," Leclerc confessed to the media. "There is a lot of work to do, I have some ideas. We will change the car quite significantly and see how it goes. I hope we can take a step forward because we are losing on the straights, but I think even in the corners it has been one of the worst Friday feelings this year."
