Intense competition lit up the Dunlop Super2 Series qualifying session as Campbell Logan successfully secured his second consecutive pole position. Pushing his machinery to the absolute limit, the talented youngster logged a blistering 1:09.043s lap to pip his Tickford Autosport teammate by an agonizingly narrow margin at the end of the frantic 20-minute run.
The atmosphere inside the paddock was electric as track evolution played a massive role during the dying moments of the session. Logan admitted that the circuit grip improved significantly between runs, allowing him to extract maximum performance from his Ford Mustang and secure back-to-back poles for the first time in years.
"It feels pretty sweet," Logan said reflecting on his performance. "I actually hadn’t had a pole until yesterday since I raced in Excels, which was maybe four years ago. To go back-to-back is pretty cool. Stoked."

Tickford locked out much of the spotlight as Ben Gomersall slotted into second place, missing out on the top spot by a razor-thin 0.003 seconds. Meanwhile, title contender Brad Vaughan managed to salvage third for Brad Jones Racing, ensuring a fierce multi-team battle for the upcoming race start.
Further down the order, the Blanchard Racing Team crew reaped the rewards of an exhaustive all-night rebuild following previous car damage, successfully guiding series leader Lochie Dalton to fifth on the grid. With several drivers suffering off-track excursions during the session, the stage is perfectly set for a dramatic encounter.
