Great news from the Trans Am Australia paddock. Veteran racer, Nathan Barbour will return to the grid at The Bend 500 with a striking new look. His #75 Chevrolet Camaro now sports the colors of civil works contractor Rokon.

This is the latest chapter in Barbour's 2026 campaign with Marcos Ambrose Motorsport and the partnership with Garry Rogers Motorsport (GRM). His championship standing is promising, sitting eighth and eyeing a solid top-10 finish.

What is most impressive, however, is the team's behind-the-scenes effort. In less than a week, they completed a full livery change and mechanical preparation. A monumental effort, especially with GRM also busy preparing a wildcard car for Bathurst and Lachlan Evennett's Super2 debut in Adelaide.

"To be back on the grid feels amazing, and to be doing it with Rokon on the car makes it even better," said Barbour. "This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible effort from the GRM and Marcos Ambrose Motorsport crews. They turned this car around, fully wrapped and mechanically prepped, in just four days."

This rapid turnaround paid off, and for Rokon, it is a major step. They are stepping up to full title sponsorship for the first time. "Rokon has been in my corner as a personal sponsor, but stepping up to naming rights is a massive commitment," said Barbour. "I love this partnership because it's not just about a logo on the car. Rokon's approach is built on hard work and reliability, and that's exactly the mindset we bring to racing every weekend."

The Trans Am Cup Series heads to South Australia for Round 5 at The Bend 500 on September 11-13. With a mix of returning and new faces, the event promises intense competition.
