The prestigious EICMA motorcycle industry exhibition in Milan marks a major return for the KTM group following a one-year absence from the Rho exhibition grounds. Alongside the core brand, sister labels Husqvarna and GasGas are making a significant comeback to outline their newly defined corporate directions and future product strategies.
Following a comprehensive restructuring phase last year, the Mattighofen-based group maintained a strict silence regarding the secondary brands. CEO Gottfried Neumeister previously emphasized that developing distinct strategies for GasGas and Husqvarna required rigorous, data-driven market research. That long-awaited clarity has finally materialized ahead of the Milan trade show doors opening.
According to official statements, GasGas has been assigned a very specific identity. CCO Stephan Reiff confirmed that the Spanish brand now boasts a crystal-clear direction, acting as the primary entry point into the off-road product family for the entire group, effectively sidelining potential street-oriented models in favor of pure dirt credentials.

Meanwhile, Husqvarna is utilizing the Milan stage to showcase its technological advancement and innovative design philosophy. While keeping complete details under wraps for now, the Austro-Swedish brand promised an exclusive preview of upcoming models alongside a strategic roadmap looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, which is expected to feature a mix of production-ready bikes and concept studies.
As for the flagship KTM brand, the primary focus in Milan remains firmly rooted in the off-road sector, which traditionally accounts for roughly half of the company's total revenue. The upcoming production-ready EXC family and an off-road surprise will share the spotlight with street heavyweights, including the recently unveiled 690 Rallye, the new-generation 790 Duke, and the market launch of the high-performance 1390 Super Duke GT.
