Former Red Bull Racing motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has officially ventured into the tech sector following his departure from the pinnacle of motorsport. The 83-year-old has stepped up as an investor in an Austrian artificial intelligence start-up called Lebensstimmen GmbH, focusing on digital end-of-life planning solutions.
The announcement regarding the seasoned Austrian, who previously nurtured talents like Max Verstappen through the junior ranks, took place during a launch event held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Vienna. Operating internationally under the name Words That Remain, the Graz-based firm lets individuals record or write personal messages to be delivered to loved ones after they pass away.
Aside from storing posthumous messages, the platform introduces innovative tools to help grieving families organize their thoughts, alongside an AI eulogist dubbed the Fabertar developed in collaboration with Vienna cathedral figures. The company emphasizes that the digital tool is meant to assist rather than replace human speakers or religious leaders.

Reflecting on his decades-long career in the fast-paced racing world, Marko drew parallels between cutting-edge engineering on the grid and his new business endeavor. He firmly believes that embracing technological evolution is vital for progress both in racing and in everyday life.
"Motorsport was never left to chance; it was improved through the courage to consistently use new technologies for the benefit of people. That is exactly the attitude I recognise in Lebensstimmen," Marko stated in the official press release. According to Motorsport.com, the platform is slated for a full international rollout in the first quarter of 2027.
