Five suspects have been arrested in France in connection with a robbery involving four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost at his home in Nyon, Switzerland.
According to Blick, the prosecution service in Pontoise, near Paris, confirmed the arrests of five individuals aged between 16 and 22. Two of the suspects are minors, while the remaining three have been remanded in custody.
The group faces charges of theft, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, and participation in a criminal gang. The incident took place just over a month ago at Prost’s home on the shores of Lake Geneva.

During the robbery, Prost sustained a head injury in a struggle, while his family was threatened before the perpetrators forced his son to open the safe. The group then fled with several items, including luxury watches.
The case has drawn attention because Prost remains one of the most important figures in Formula 1 history. The Frenchman won four world championships between 1985 and 1993 with McLaren and Williams.
Prost also claimed 51 grand prix victories across his career, a record that stood for many years after his retirement in 1993. The arrests in France now mark the latest major development in the legal process following the incident.
