Spanish manufacturer Rieju continues to expand its footprint in the mid-displacement motorcycle market through the XPLORA family. The introduction of this latest asphalt-oriented model highlights the brand's dedication to crafting versatile adventure tourers tailored specifically for A2 license holders seeking daily commuting comfort and weekend touring capability.
At the heart of the machine lies a 554cc parallel-twin four-stroke engine equipped with liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection, fully compliant with Euro5+ regulations. This power plant churns out 47 horsepower alongside a maximum torque of 51 Nm delivered at 4,500 rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission featuring an oil-bath multi-plate clutch equipped with an anti-hopping system for smoother downshifts.
The chassis architecture is built around a high-strength steel multitubular frame accompanied by an aluminum swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by KYB components, utilizing a 43mm inverted front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, with both ends providing 150mm of wheel travel to ensure stable handling across various road conditions.

Stopping power is exceptionally robust for its category, featuring dual 320mm front brake discs paired with four-piston radial calipers, while the rear utilizes a single 260mm disc. The entire setup is managed by a dual-channel Bosch ABS system that can be toggled off when desired by the rider.
According to Motosan.es, the true personality of this motorcycle is defined by its 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tires. This configuration steers the vehicle firmly toward asphalt touring, breaking away from traditional adventure bikes that rely on larger front wheel diameters.
Inside the cockpit, a massive seven-inch color TFT display takes center stage by offering comprehensive instrumentation and connectivity. Priced very competitively at 5,499 euros, this mid-sized touring machine presents a compelling option in today's entry-to-mid adventure landscape.
