WRC, Sportrik Media - The 2026 edition of the Safari Rally Kenya will host Round 3 of the FIA World Rally Championship season from 12–15 March 2026. The rally will take place entirely around Naivasha, marking a new operational format with all competitive activities centred in the Great Rift Valley region.
Held under the supervision of the FIA, the event will feature 20 special stages covering approximately 350.52 km of competitive distance across demanding gravel terrain. Safari Rally Kenya remains one of the toughest events in the championship due to rough surfaces, high temperatures and unpredictable weather conditions that place significant strain on both machinery and crews.
The entry list includes 46 crews, featuring nine-time world champion Sébastien Ogier representing Toyota Gazoo Racing. He will face championship leader Elfyn Evans, who won the 2025 edition together with co-driver Scott Martin.
The rally route includes several iconic Kenyan stages such as Camp Moran, Loldia, Sleeping Warrior and Hell’s Gate. The event concludes with the decisive Wolf Power Stage at Hell’s Gate, which awards additional championship points to the fastest crews.
