WRC, Sportrik Media - Sebastien Ogier secured victory at the 2026 Acropolis Rally Greece after capitalising on late misfortune for Thierry Neuville. The Toyota Gazoo Racing driver completed the event in 3:36:40.7 to keep his FIA World Rally Championship title hopes alive.
Ogier started Sunday trailing Neuville by 4.1 seconds before taking the rally lead on SS14. The decisive moment came on SS16 when Neuville suffered two punctures and lost more than 50 seconds, allowing Ogier to build a commanding advantage heading into the Power Stage.
Despite holding a comfortable lead, Ogier continued to push on SS17 and also claimed the Power Stage victory. Neuville finished second, 58.3 seconds behind, while Takamoto Katsuta completed an all-important podium finish for Toyota in third place.

Josh McErlean recorded the best WRC result of his career in fourth. Sami Pajari secured fifth after Adrien Fourmaux suffered another puncture on the Power Stage, while Elfyn Evans finished seventh ahead of Martins Sesks, Robert Virves and Andreas Mikkelsen.
Ogier also topped the Super Sunday classification to score maximum bonus points, ahead of Pajari, Katsuta, Neuville and Oliver Solberg. The FIA World Rally Championship now heads to Rally Estonia before continuing with Rally Finland later this summer.
