Marcos Uriarte has emerged as one of the most searched young riders in Moto3 during the 2026 season. The Spanish rider currently competes for Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP, riding a KTM machine as a replacement rider in the Moto3 World Championship.
Born in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, on December 7, 2004, Uriarte began his international racing career in the European Talent Cup in 2018. His performances quickly earned him a place in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he made his debut in 2019 and claimed his first podium at MotorLand Aragon. That impressive rookie campaign saw him finish 10th in the overall standings.

Uriarte continued his development in the Red Bull Rookies Cup during 2020 before making another step forward in 2021. He secured two podium finishes that season while also taking his maiden podium in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship, strengthening his reputation as one of Spain's promising young talents.

His first opportunity in the Moto3 World Championship arrived at the 2022 Catalan Grand Prix, where he substituted for Rivacold Snipers Team. Two years later, he returned to Grand Prix competition at the 2024 Barcelona Solidarity Grand Prix with CFMoto Aspar Team, finishing 25th in his second World Championship appearance.

After finishing fifth in the JuniorGP standings, Uriarte earned a full-time Moto3 seat with FleetSafe Honda – MLav Racing for the 2025 season. Although the partnership ended midway through the year, he remained active in the Grand Prix paddock as both a replacement and wildcard rider before joining Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP during the 2026 campaign.
As of the 2026 season, Uriarte races with the #88 plate and has made three Moto3 starts, collecting six championship points to sit 22nd in the riders' standings. While he is still searching for his first podium, victory and pole position at world championship level, the Spaniard continues to gain valuable experience in Grand Prix racing.
At just 21 years of age, Marcos Uriarte remains one of the riders with significant long-term potential. His progression from the European Talent Cup through the Red Bull Rookies Cup, JuniorGP and into Moto3 has laid a solid foundation for his professional career, with every appearance in 2026 representing another opportunity to establish himself as a permanent Grand Prix rider in the years ahead.
