Valentin Perrone delivered a stunning performance in Moto3 Practice at Silverstone on Friday (7/8/2026). The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider clocked a 2'09.568 to lead the session, narrowly ahead of Scott Ogden and Veda Pratama.
The 35-minute session saw Brian Uriarte lead in the middle stages. The Red Bull KTM Ajo rider outpaced David Almansa, Maximo Quiles, Alvaro Carpe, and Casey O'Gorman, with margins razor-thin.
As the session entered its final phase, the battle heated up. David Gonzalez had a moment through the gravel but continued. Perrone then struck with his fastest lap on lap 12, displacing Ogden by just 0.010s. Pratama from Honda Team Asia took third, 0.061s adrift.

Uriarte had to settle for fourth, with O'Gorman completing the top five. Several notable names, including Matteo Bertelle, Hakim Danish, Rico Salmela, and Joel Kelso, missed the top 14 and will have to go through Q1 on Saturday to fight for a Q2 spot.
This result is a great boost for Perrone and his team, underlining the fierce competition in Moto3 this season. Can he carry this momentum into qualifying? We'll see.
