Sweltering temperatures at the Sepang International Circuit failed to stop Maximo Quiles from securing a commanding victory in the Moto3 Malaysian Grand Prix. The newly crowned champion delivered a masterclass performance from pole position, capturing his eleventh win of the season after executing a decisive breakaway in the scorching Malaysian heat.
The race began with immediate drama as David Almansa grabbed the holeshot with a sharp move up the inside. The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider initially led a five-bike breakaway that quickly separated themselves from the rest of the pack. However, Quiles steadily reeled him in before seizing control of the race lead for the first time on lap six.
Once out front, the Spanish rider steadily extended his advantage on his KTM machinery, eventually cruising across the finish line with a comfortable 3.734-second margin. Behind the dominant leader, a thrilling four-way battle for the remaining podium steps kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very final corner.

Indonesian rising star Veda Pratama navigated the intense group scrap brilliantly. Capitalizing on mistakes from his rivals during a chaotic final lap, the Honda Team Asia rookie fought his way up to second place, securing his career-best finish and second-ever world championship podium.
Alvaro Carpe claimed the final step of the podium in third for Red Bull KTM Ajo, while local hero Hakim Danish finished a valiant fourth to the delight of the home crowd. Almansa ultimately slipped to fifth after a late wobble disrupted his rhythm, rounding out a dramatic top five in an unforgettable lower-class encounter.
