Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has officially announced its much-anticipated return to the FIM Supersport World Championship. The iconic brand is set to make a dramatic comeback on the international stage utilizing the formidable GSX-R750 machine, aiming to recapture its historical glory in the fiercely contested middleweight class.
To spearhead this exciting new racing chapter, Suzuki has partnered with the Italian squad Motozoo Racing. The team has built a solid reputation and valuable competitive experience in the WorldSSP paddock over recent years, establishing themselves as a reliable operation capable of handling a factory-backed development program.
Technically, the project receives significant backing from American outfit Team Hammer alongside Bike Sport Developments. Together, they have engineered a sophisticated ride-by-wire throttle system designed to adapt the machine to the rigorous technical demands and performance standards of the modern championship.

On the rider front, Motozoo Racing has enlisted former MotoE world champion Mattia Casadei to pilot the machine. His proven race-winning pedigree and previous collaboration with the team provide a strong foundation as the outfit works tirelessly to climb up the championship standings.
This upcoming campaign also serves as a nostalgic nod to Suzuki's rich heritage in the series, reminding fans of legendary riders and classic battles from decades past. Motorsport enthusiasts eagerly await how this ambitious partnership will unfold when the starting lights finally go out.
