Alpine driver Pierre Gasly has dismissed concerns over the intense pressure from thousands of Franco Colapinto supporters flooding the grandstands at Interlagos for the Formula 1 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Despite previously facing online abuse from certain social media accounts, the French driver welcomes the vibrant atmosphere and views the passionate Argentine crowd as a positive energy source for the team.
The massive influx of Argentina flags has become a familiar spectacle since his teammate ended the nation's long absence on the grid. While the unprecedented scale of support has occasionally spilled over into toxic online behavior directed at rival drivers and the team, Gasly remains completely unfazed by the roaring atmosphere inside the garage this weekend.
Asked whether the overwhelming presence of Argentine fans puts him under any psychological strain, Gasly laughed off the suggestion by drawing on his extensive decade-long experience in the paddock and his past encounters with the notoriously strict Red Bull motorsport advisor.

"I've been 10 years in F1 and once you deal with Helmut Marko, anything else is no pressure!" Gasly stated, highlighting his resilient mindset built through years of high-stakes racing.
He emphasized that his primary focus remains firmly on executing his professional duties on the track. Rather than feeling intimidated, he feeds off the electric energy of the crowd, noting that Brazil has historically been a venue where he receives tremendous personal support from motorsport enthusiasts.
Meanwhile, the young Argentine driver has previously addressed the issue of online toxicity through a social media video. Speaking to the media, he acknowledged a noticeable improvement within his fan community while stressing that maintaining a healthy digital environment remains a collective, ongoing responsibility for everyone involved in the sport.
