Maximo Quiles remains firmly in control of the 2026 Moto3 World Championship following the Czech Grand Prix at Brno. Despite finishing third in Sunday's race, the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team rider increased his tally to 186 points and continues to hold a commanding advantage at the top of the standings.

The closest challenger remains Alvaro Carpe, who occupies second place with 121 points. However, the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider still trails Quiles by 65 points after finishing sixth at Brno, leaving the championship leader in a strong position heading into the next phase of the season.

Brian Uriarte strengthened his hold on third place after securing second position in the Czech Grand Prix. The Spaniard now has 92 points and has created a small cushion over the group of riders battling immediately behind him.

The fight for positions four through seven remains one of the closest battles in the championship. David Almansa sits fourth on 89 points, just three ahead of Marco Morelli. Meanwhile, Veda Pratama continues to move closer to the front after his fifth-place finish at Brno lifted him to 82 points.

The result was another encouraging step for the Honda Team Asia rider. Veda now sits only four points behind Morelli and seven behind Almansa, placing him within striking distance of the top four in the championship standings.

The biggest winner from the Czech Grand Prix weekend was Hakim Danish. His victory at Brno delivered 25 crucial points and elevated the Malaysian rider to seventh in the standings with 73 points. Danish now trails Veda by only nine points and has firmly inserted himself into the battle among the championship's leading contenders.

Although Quiles continues to enjoy a comfortable lead, the fight behind him is becoming increasingly competitive. With Carpe, Uriarte, Almansa, Morelli, Veda and Danish separated by relatively small margins compared to the championship leader, the battle for the remaining podium positions in the standings could become one of the key storylines of the second half of the Moto3 season.
