Marc Marquez proved once again why he is a force to be reckoned with at MotorLand Aragon. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider delivered a flawless performance to win the Aragon Grand Prix on Sunday, reshaping the 2026 MotoGP title fight.

Starting from pole, Marquez was in control from the get-go, crossing the line ahead of an impressive Pedro Acosta and Marco Bezzecchi, who completed the podium. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin had to settle for fifth – a tough blow for the Aprilia rider.

With a 25-point haul, Marquez now sits second in the standings with 237 points, just 19 behind leader Martin, who has 256. The gap that once seemed comfortable has suddenly narrowed, setting the stage for a thrilling finale.

This victory also highlighted Marquez's dominance at Aragon, a track that perfectly suits his aggressive style. He also won the Sprint Race the day before, showcasing remarkable consistency.

The results have shaken up the championship. Bezzecchi remains third with 232 points but lost some ground, while Acosta moved up to sixth, overtaking Raul Fernandez. The top of the standings is tighter than ever, and every race now feels like a final.

With several rounds remaining, Martin still holds the reins, but the pressure is mounting. Marquez is brimming with confidence, and if this trend continues, the title battle could go down to the wire.
