Liam Lawson's long-term future in Formula 1 remains a subject of ongoing discussion despite a strong campaign that sees the New Zealander sit ninth in the drivers' standings heading into the upcoming race weekend in Texas. While his seat for 2027 is not yet guaranteed amid pressure from rising Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov, current competitive realities take a brief backseat.
Before the intense on-track action gets underway at the Circuit of the Americas, the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls driver is set to showcase an entirely different set of skills on stage in downtown Austin. The event, scheduled for the Thursday prior to the United States Grand Prix, will take place at 'Inn Cahoots' as part of the 'Garage Sessions'.
This unique appearance marks the official launch of a partnership with 'Taylor Guitars', who have provided the Kiwi driver with a custom-crafted LL30 GS Mini specifically designed for his live performance. Lawson will share the spotlight with his brother and two lifelong friends, bringing his personal passion full circle.

“It feels like things are coming full circle,” Lawson stated, reflecting on his musical upbringing initiated by his father who played in a band and encouraged both sons to pick up instruments from the age of six. He emphasized that music serves as a vital mental escape from the rigorous pressures of Grand Prix racing.
“And now I'm super excited to be on stage and connect with fans outside of the racetrack,” Lawson added, expressing his eager anticipation ahead of the performance alongside other featured artists such as Drake Milligan and Jonathon Capeci.
