Liam Lawson is set to showcase his musical talents away from the Formula 1 racetrack by launching an exclusive custom guitar. Ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, the driver is confirmed to make his debut at Red Bull's anticipated Garage Sessions music and culture event.
On this special occasion, he will not only perform but also introduce his collaborative creation, the Taylor Guitar LL30 GS Mini Special Edition. This unique acoustic instrument stands out with its striking pink-to-white ombre color gradient and features his iconic racing number prominently in the center of the body.
Lawson's passion for music is not a sudden hobby but something deeply rooted in his childhood. His father played a major role by encouraging Liam Lawson and his brother to learn musical instruments starting from the age of six. Although he ultimately chose a professional career as a motorsport athlete, his love for strings and melodies never faded away.
The festivities are scheduled to kick off on Thursday at Inn Cahoots on Austin's East 6th Street. The excitement begins with the Esses Bazaar at 3 PM local time, offering various attractions including live music, local food, western wear, glam stations, tattoo booths, and an opportunity for fans to get close to the team's show car.
The main Garage Sessions event will follow at 7 PM, where Liam Lawson will take to the stage to perform live alongside his childhood bandmates. This special performance feels even more emotional as he shares the stage with his brother and two close friends he grew up playing music with.
